Our 2006 pro football predictions are going to focus on a
pair of team's that we think show a decent value with the line set for their
season win totals. We have done all of the homework and these are the two
best bets of the preseason predictions, and we want you to cash in on them free
of charge. Once you get a feel for how much we know about pro football, we

We
are going to start off with the Washington Redskins. This team has their
line set at 9 wins, which is a little low. That would mean that the team
has to lose 8 games for us to not be able to cash the ticket and that just
doesn't seem likely. This team made the playoffs last year and even beat
Tampa Bay in the first round. The team's major loss was LaVar Arrington,
but this guy hadn't been at full force the last two seasons. Instead they
upgraded where they needed to in signing Adam Archuleta, Andre Carter, and
Antwaan Randle El. The offense should get a boost from the signing of Al
Saunders to be the offensive coordinator. The money has been spent, the
team improved and they are going to win the NFC East, forget about the Cowboys.
The second team that we are going
to take a look at is the Miami Dolphins. There are high hopes after a nice
first season under Nick Saban and the odds makers have set this team's win total
at 9. We have to believe that they are going to go over that number and
get to 10 wins this season. The biggest reason is the acquisition of
Duante Culpepper from the Vikings. Culpepper is recovering nicely from
off-season knee surgery and this guy is a top 5 NFL quarterback. Chris
Chambers and Marty Booker are going to prosper with Culpepper under the center
and this is going to take pressure off Ronnie Brown. The defense returns
pretty much intact and should terrorize opposing quarterbacks once again.
The schedule isn't bad at all either with a lot of weak games this year.
The division will be down with Buffalo and the Jets struggling, so take the
Dolphins to go over.
