When you sit down to do some research and make your 2007
Preakness Stakes predictions you are going to want to make sure that you
have as much information at your hands as possible. With this article we
are going to pick out some horses that we think really have a shot at winning
the race and some other ones that we think are real duds. If you just
follow this simple advice from the experts here at John Martin's Black Magic
Sports then you'll have a narrower field to choose who to bet on, and that will
lead to more of our readers finishing in the black.
Now when making your 2007 Preakness
Stakes predictions there are a few horses that we
think you should stay away from. The first is
Circular Quay. We haven't seen a horse get so much
attention as raceday approached in a very long time as
this horse has gotten. He finished in sixth place
at the Derby and his is trained by Todd Pletcher.
Pletcher has only started one horse in the Preakness and
that was back in 2000, which was Impeachment, who
finished in third place. Another horse to stay
away from is Mint Slewlep, not that many of you were
considering this horse but at 50/1 or plus odds a lot of
people will be willing to try and take a shot with the
darkest of the dark horses.
There are a couple of horses that we feel
strongly about with our 2007 Preakness Stakes
predictions that are being overlooked by the general
public. The first is Flying First Class.
This horse was the winner of the Derby Trial at
Churchill Downs on April 28th and is trained by D. Wayne
Lukas, the trainer who has brought more horses to the
Preakness than any other person out there. We also
think Hard Spun is the best bet of the favorites.
This is one of the fastest of the nine horses in the
race and at the Pimlico track, speed is at a premium.
Now that you know a few of the horses we
are keying and the ones that we are trying to stay away
from you will have a better chance of profiting on May
19th. This spring you are either with us or
against us so hop on the premium side and start winning
today.
